I have been on the road again. It has been a while since I have been able to practice the art of photography. This time the emphasis was on people photography versus my normal landscape. I love it. This is a Bajo Village in Indonesia. They are  a people who live in stilted houses along the coast. Their core income comes from fishing. Very few break out of the community. In one of their houses, they were telling us proudly of a one of their “daughters” who is teaching at a university in Paris.  Another story was of another Bajo child who is a professor at the local university in Kendari.
