Skiing down the Schilthorn
Sony NEX-6, Switzerland
Skiing has to be one of the most magnificent sports in the world. In the Alps of Switzerland it combines exhilaration, as is evident in this picture take just be Christmas right at the top of the Schilthorn, and beauty. The mountain scenery is spectacular as shown in some of the other posts (to follow). The area is close to the Eiger, known as Top of Europe. We stay in an incredibly picturesque village called Grindelwald. The one shot in the picture slider on this blog is taken in Grindelwald. Just near Interlaken, it is an amazing place, both in the summer and the winter. There is so much to do that one never tires of coming here.
