Photographing these mountains in the middle of the ski season is amazing. But I think I prefer late spring because you have more color in the photo. The still cold lake provided ideal mirroring capabilities, resulting in a striking view. The day was actually pretty overcast and I was praying for a break in the clouds, which you see here. Sometimes you just have to be patient and wait!
